What is ECG, 2D echo and TMT?
ECG or electrocardiogram helps in measuring the electrical activity of heart.
An echocardiogram or 2D echo uses sound waves to produce images of the heart.
A treadmill test or Stress test is used to measure your heart's activity when it is subjected to exercise. You will be walking on the treadmill with an ECG attached. This will help to show how the heart responds to a different level of exercise.
What preparation is required before the procedure?
These procedures do not require any special preparation.
What is the time taken for the procedure?
Approximately, the time taken for the procedure is 10-20 mins.
Is an appointment required for the procedure?
Yes.
Who will be conducting these tests?
These tests shall be conducted by senior cardiologists affiliated with us, along with trained technicians.
When is the report expected?
Within half an hour of the scan. You shall be informed in case of any unexpected delays.
